WE ENVISION A FUTURE WITH STRONG GLOBAL HEALTH PATHWAYS WHERE THOSE WHO SUFFER FROM RARE CONDITIONS HAVE A CLEAR ROUTE TO CARE

JHI is dedicated to expanding global healthcare access for children with rare diseases and conditions by increasing patient care capacity and strengthening partnerships with leading hospitals like Boston Children’s, Shriners, and MGH. Future efforts focus on enhancing patient intake, monitoring processes, and long-term outcome tracking. JHI aims to engender continued growth to create sustainable impact on children’s health worldwide.

Wheel of Strategic Goals

  • Expand Healthcare Access for Children Globally

    • Provide care for up to 40 patients in the next calendar year, with the ability to scale up.

  • Strengthen Networks

    • Increase JHI’s hospital and care network. Including strengthening current partnerships with hospitals such as Boston Children’s, Shriners and MGH.

  • Supervise and Monitor

    • Enhance patient’s vetting, intake & procedural processes as well as the long term tracking of patient outcomes.

  • Build External Capacity

    • Explore grants and other funding sources to create more awareness of JHI and its services.

  • Build Internal Capacity

    • Explore grants and other funding sources to hire JHI staff with a priority on a part-time administrator and marketing professional.

How to Get Involved

Children with life-threatening rare diseases and complex conditions face immense challenges, made even more daunting by limited access to the specialized care they desperately need. These hardships disproportionately impact the most vulnerable. However, you have the power to make a meaningful difference today—support JHI’s mission to advance global health equity and bring life-saving care to those who need it most.
